Doñarepa is a Colombian pre-cooked corn flour. It is made from 100% corn and is 100% natural.
This flour is mainly used to make arepas, an extremely versatile dish that can be served as an appetizer, snack or side dish. Arepas can become a complete meal for breakfast, lunch or dinner: depending on whether you add meat, cheese, eggs or vegetables - or a combination of these.
In Colombia, arepas are usually made a little thinner than in Venezuela, where they are often used for sandwiches filled with meat or cheese, such as reina pepiada.
