Mate cocido is prepared like green or black tea and drunk from cups or mugs: no traditional accessories (calabash/bombilla) are needed. Mate cocido means "boiled tea". Instead of water, you can also prepare the tea with milk. The drink is delicious and very warming, perfect in winter or for children.
