Wow! Definitely times flight when you enjoy what you do. This 2nd of November in The Day of the Dead, We will celebrate our 3rd anniversary. Can you believe it? because we can't!
It has been quiet a journey which we have had many adventures, overcome many difficulties, met a lot of lovely and unique people, but the most important is that we have learned a lot being the first Importer-Distributor of Latin American products to this beautiful part of the world, and introduced them to its lovely people and we still learning every day.
About to cross the third year line as a all year round non-stop business we have many feelings with us. The most important is to be thankful for all the support from Latin American and local people who has helped us in this journey. This really means the world to us. I am sure we have made many mistakes in this period and we still do, but we have learned from them. Most importantly is that we appreciate every order we have, and we attend it with a smile, with the heart open, feeling blessed. This is not just a transaction for us, because we understand in one way we help many customers to feel closer to home.
Another feeling is belonging; Even though we love this country which has welcomed us and our families, is still different where we come from, regardless how good to adapting you could be. So, working hand to hand with the Latino community, support and respect each other has been key. . We have learned in this time that we are stronger together.
One not positive feeling that we can not avoid is sadness; to see that many of the Latino businesses who started in contemporary time with us, as partners, friends even competition had to close their doors for different reasons. I just can say that is not easy being an independent business in an unknown country much different than ours. That is why we feel for them.
In our almost 20 years living abroad and in different countries. We have come with the conclusion that most of Latino people are talented, hard working and honest. Hence in order to contribute to the Community and businesses related to Latin America, we decided to make this blog and space, called LATIN LOVER to promote and expose their projects.
LATIN LOVER in internet has an outdated meaning, between other things you could find: A stereotype of a particular type of Southern European or Latin American man who is romantic, passionate and Sexy. We believe in this modern world this word should be referred to male and females but not just coming from that region, but also to the people from other parts of the world who feels attracted to the countries, culture, food and people of those regions. In one way or another WE all, Latinos and Latinos friends are LATIN LOVERS.
